Brandywine Creek Boykins - Fun Hunt Information

Moss received the 'Maggie Award' - given to the dog who shows the most heart every year at the Fun Hunt.
Below are some of the pictures taken at the 2006 7th annual Fun Hunt. The hunt was sponsored by Brandywine Creek Boykin Spaniels and J&L Boykin Spaniels. 24 dogs participate in water retrieving and an upland bird hunt. Any dog that completed 1 water retrieves and flushed and retrieved 3 birds was awarded a completion ribbon. The event was held at Glenns Valley Conservation Club 12 miles south of Indianapolis, IN and was attended by 47 Boykin Spaniels (including puppies). An HRC simulated event demonstration was held on Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. We also held a training session for puppies and a basic obedience training session. We want to thank everyone who attended and made the day a success and to Paul Feldake and Jon Anderson for taking care of the HRC demonstration, Frank Semken for instructing the basic obedience class and everyone else who pitched in and planted birds, scorekeepers and everything else it took to make this day a success.
